Do you have questions about how Red Hat JBoss Middleware fits into your SAP landscape? Or how to configure your High Availability environment? How to get the most out of your Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Applications or Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA subscriptions? Stop by Booth 611 at SAP TechEd 2016.

We’ll also be hosting

3V Solutions, an SAP Gold Partner specializing in S4/HANA implementations, in our booth. Meet with them to gather insights for your migration plan or to hear about their 90-day S4/HANA Proof of Concept program.

If you’d like to catch up with one of Red Hat’s SAP architects, Sherry Yu, you’ll find her in the Intel booth (#101) Tuesday Sept 20, 4pm - 4:30pm for a tech talk. At 5:00 she’ll be presenting at Lounge 6 on the show floor on how to kickstart your SAP TDI implementation. SAP HANA TDI provides flexibility and the opportunity to reuse existing hardware and datacenter infrastructure - but it can be complex. Join this session to learn how to map out a successful TDI project.

One of our data virtualization engineers, Ted Jones, will be on hand to demonstrate how to set up a scalable internet of things solution that uses Red Hat’s IoT middleware gateway stack talking to SAP HANA in the cloud. Ted is prepared to answer your questions about Red Hat JBoss Middleware and how to apply it to your IoT integration and data collection challenges.

Red Hat's Leading Results on SAP SD 2-Tier Benchmark

Finally, we’re very excited to announce some new world records in SAP performance benchmarks.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux continues to achieve top performance results on business-critical ERP benchmarks. As of 9/16/2016 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux holds several record results on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark. Specifically:

  • World Record 2 processor results for all x86 servers on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark (1)
  • World Record 4 processor results overall on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark (2)
  • World Record 16 processor results overall on the two-tier SAP SD standard application benchmark (3)

As the chart below indicates, the Red Hat-based solutions have a commanding lead in all three categories, surpassing the closest competing results by as much as 17 percent.

The most recent record-breaking result was achieved with the 16 socket HPE Integrity Superdome X system, capable of supporting the largest enterprise applications with groundbreaking mission-critical performance and availability at industry-standard efficiencies. This leading performance benchmark is the outcome of the strong engineering partnership among HPE, Red Hat, and SAP. They share a deep understanding of each other's technology and a collaborative approach to optimizing environments for high performance in benchmark tests as well as business-critical customer environments. See HPE's Performance Brief for details.
